The Queen is hosting a lunchtime reception at St George’s Hall in Windsor Castle for 600 guests.
Seven canapés aka appetizers will be served before three main dishes served in bowls. Guests are encouraged to eat the bowl dishes while standing.
The menu has *a lot* of asparagus, tomato, and dairy.I like the idea of bowl food but it feels out of place at a royal wedding. Then again, I’m not familiar of all the customs for these type of “functions”.
Champagne and pistachio macaroons sound OUT OF THIS WORLD, hat off to whichever food blogger can recreate that one. What do you think of the menu?
