Apple Crisp - Only 3 Ingredients Needed

  • 1 8x8 non-stick cake pan


  • 16.5 oz Duncan Hines Yellow Cake Mix
  • 5 medium Red Delicious apples
  • 1/3 cup butter melted


  1. Preheat the oven to 375 F. 

  2. Peel the apples and slice thinly. You can make the apples thicker if you like. The key is to make them al the same size for even cooking. 

  3. Layer the apples in the 8x8 non-stick baking pan. 

  4. In a bowl combine cake mix and 1/4 of the melted butter using a fork to create “crumbles”. Continue to add the butter and mix with a fork. 

  5. Top the apples with the cake mix. Place in the middle rack and bake for 40 minutes or until topping is golden brown.
